desired date from calendars in left side of screen. Click on "Update Map". Now you are done! Your iTD location
will show on middle of map with a red balloon.
Now I have located my iTD, how do I start
tracking?
Actually you don't need to do something!! Just click on "Update Map" to get new location update
form iTrace servers. To choose duration of time you want to track the iTD and how frequent you want
to have the iTD located, use your instruction manual that you have received with your iTD to set duration and
frequent by SMS. Once you have chosen the duration and frequency
for tracking the iTD will send location to iTrace servers.
For covert vehicle tracking place the iTD inside the magnet mounted
plastic case and snap it closed by engaging the latch securely. After you
have deployed the iTD covertly follow the same procedure as indicated
above for tracking the iTD.
How do I start to retrieve location and tracking
history?
On the bottom center of the "Map page" there is a "Location Details" click on "toggle show"
and get location history. Or for complete report go to "Reports" tab and choose desired report that match your requirment.
What if I get same location and time stamp always and I
can't locate my iTD?
The most common cause for not being able to
locate new position of the iTD is because the battery needs recharging. A dead battery
requires a minimum of 4 hours to complete a full charge. The next
potential reason is the iTD could be in a heavily impaired environment
like inside a concrete building or an underground parking structure that there is no GSM reception or eighter GPS reception.
The iTD is designed to search for and communicate with multiple GSM cell towers
and GPS. In an outdoor unimpaired environment with sufficient battery life
and at least one GSM cell tower to communicate with the iTD can be located as
it is designed to do.
iTrace recommends that you try to locate the iTD by
clicking on the "Update Map" tab a second time after a while. If you are still having
difficulty locating your iTD and you know the battery has a good charge
then oftentimes the iTD can be located when it leaves the heavily impaired
environment and is able to communicate with the nearest GSM cell towers and GPS.
Which internet browser should I use to locate my
devices?
For best results iTrace recommends Internet Explorer.
What do I do to avoid uninterrupted tracking of my
iTD?
iTrace recommends that you set your computer power settings to
"never" go to hibernate. This can be achieved by clicking on your start
button on the bottom left of your monitor screen. Then click on "control
panel" tab. Click on the "display" tab. Click on the "screen saver" tab.
Click on the "power" tab. We recommend you set all the settings to
"never". This will ensure that you're tracking duration will not be
interrupted.
What do I do if my iTD is inoperable?
iTrace
